Infrastructure support in Ukraine

We provide some important information for construction companies, including road and rail companies. The European Commission (EC) has announced a €50 billion grant for infrastructure reconstruction in Ukraine. The money will be disbursed by accredited banks, including BGK Bank (open to project proposals in this regard).

There are no detailed instructions for the whole process yet, but we are providing this information that has been made available as of today:

• Form of financing: investment loan, project financing
• Subject of financing : infrastructure
• Investment location : Ukraine
• Amounts : from 5 to 30 million EUR per project
• Borrowers : Polish, joint or Ukrainian legal entities, including companies. In the case of Ukrainian legal entities, the loan is provided by a Ukrainian bank under the guarantee of BGK Bank.
• Own share 20-30%.
• Loan period up to 12 years
• Project must show a return on investment
