Entries to BDO (Waste Database)

Along with January 1st, 2020, waste management entrepreneurs will have to be on the BDO (Waste Database) register. If they are not in the database, they will not be able to issue documents and accept waste. The new Act on waste imposes on entrepreneurs the obligation to place the assigned number from the BDO register on documents prepared in connection with their business: VAT invoices, receipts, sales contracts, reports, waste transfer cards and their records. This obligation applies to persons introducing equipment and its authorized representatives, companies introducing batteries or accumulators, vehicles, manufacturers, importers and intra-Community buyers of packaging, introducing packaging products in Poland, introducing tires and lubricating oils.
