Minimum wage increase from 1 January 2024

14.09.2023 The Council of Ministers adopted a regulation on the minimum wage in 2024). The minimum wage will increase from 1 January 2024 to 4242 PLN gross. Another increase in the minimum wage awaits us in July of the same year. Then wages will rise to 4,300 PLN gross. Hourly wages will also increase – to 27.70 PLN.

The minimum wage increases quoted by the government are gross amounts, which means that an employee will receive a relatively smaller amount on hand, i.e. a net amount. On average, the 2024 minimum wage will be, in turn:

3222 PLN from 01.01.2024
3262 PLN from 01.07.2024
