The largest economic boom
GDP growth in Poland in the first quarter of 2019 amounted to 4.7%. According to forecasts, at the end of December, the average annual growth may be as high as 5%. If that happened, we would have been dealing with the longest economic boom since the late 1990s.
Long-awaited investments, which have already had a breakdown in 2016 and 2017, have increased by 12.6%. This is the best result since the first quarter of 2015. We owe it not only to public investments, but also to private ones (mainly to companies with foreign capital).
